Greetings!

I think everyone can say they’ve been affected somewhat differently this year. With the many challenges presented, there were just as many solutions. From IT to administration to the job itself of practicing the law, every aspect of the law office has seen new experiences.

Looking back, how have your work habits changed? You were still able to get the job done but maybe with a “slight” adjustment compared to last year.

  • Did you have all of the research tools working from home?
  • How did you compensate when a resource wasn’t at your fingertips?
  • Is there anything you would have done differently?
  • Do you feel you did more with less?

Yes, these are some obvious questions that sometimes are forgotten. Now may be a good time to reassess all of your accomplishments. What resources did you live without that you thought you had to have?

  • Which book became your “go-to” resource?
  • How creative did you become finding results?
  • Did you need as many licenses for your software needs?

When you review this past year, you obviously had to invest time and money in new ways to do things. One constant is that you have a subscription for legal resources. So, combining the new with the old, have you done an audit to find places where money could be saved?

  • Have you canceled those things that you no longer use?
  • Is your legal research library top-heavy?
  • Where can you eliminate the waste?

Time is a valuable resource and a penny saved is a penny earned.

Legal Counsel Consulting has the resources to evaluate contracts to assure competitive pricing and prevent oversubscribing.

If there is any way I can help or if you would like to schedule a brief conversation, please feel free to contact me.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Best regards, George
